Setoda Inn is a traditional Japanese ryoukan hotel located midway along the chain of islands connecting Honshu with Shikoku in the Seto Naikai National Park. Setoda is the main tourist town on the Shimanami Kaido, popular with cyclists wanting to break their journey over 2 days. It is a short ferry ride from Mihara, which is 25 minutes from Hiroshima city by bullet train. Pick up from Fukuyama station also available.
Setoda is best known for Kosanji Temple and the Hirayama Ikuo Museum of Art, both a short walk from the hotel. Also nearby are numerous restaurants, a supermarket, a large drugstore and convenience stores. A short cycle away is the famous Setoda Sunset Beach and the ferry to Rabbit Island.

Access
From Hiroshima city: 25 minute Shinkansen super express train to Mihara station and 27 minute high speed ferry from Mihara port to Setoda port. Last ship departs Mihara at 8:40pm.
From Osaka: 1 hour Shinkansen train from Shin-Osaka station to Fukuyama station. Reserve hotel pick up (5,000 yen).
From Hiroshima Airport: Reserve airport transfer (1 hour) or 32 minute bus to Mihara port, then 27 minute high speed ferry to Setoda port.
